Deep in the jungles of Mexico living on an eco-village around a cenote was one of the last places I pictured myself. But after spending nearly the entire year of 2020 devoid of work, I decided to go for it when the opportunity sprang up. The result was an incredibly unique experience, one that bettered me as a traveler and a human.
