In January of 2018, Jet Journal approached me for a one-off social media campaign to help promote their new travel app. After the success of the campaign, I was asked to be their full-time social media coordinator, eventually evolving into a bigger role with the company as a lead content creator, community manager, and a main role in potential user outreach. Although I had various roles within the company, the one consistent thing was using my photography to create and inspire.
My photography, storytelling, and multi-platform media presentations played a major role in the marketing, advertising, and aesthetics of Jet Journal. From Instagram to Twitter to their website, my photography and stories were the major source for much of Jet Journal’s marketing campaigns. Although Jet Journal is an app aiming for a global community, my content creation was focused on South East Asian destinations. However, I also produced a lot of content covering the United States, Europe, South America, and South Africa.
