Cape Town is perhaps my favorite city in the entire world. A battlefield where the burning African sun clashes with the ever-roaring ocean and the mountains stand omnipresent, never wavering in their defense of the city. The waves crash incessantly and when the wind blows, it howls. The history of Cape Town is laden with shipwrecks, and many of those who find themselves here are just survivors washing up on her rugged shores. The magnificence of the nature surrounding Cape Town is rivaled and perhaps outshone only by the raucous culture that brings the city to life. One can wash up on the shores of Cape Town and ascend the mountains a conqueror.
From November to December 2018, I took charge of the social media for Find Your Pack, a co-working retreat company that I would later go on to become the lead photographer for in Bali. In Cape Town, I documented and shared every aspect of the month-long retreat on social platforms. Although I was not the main photographer for the trip, many of my own pictures were used to market and advertise the trip through social media in the form of Instagram posts and impeccably designed and storyboarded Instagram stories.
